1 chocolate bar (200gr)
5 eggs
400 gr sugar
150 gr flour
250 gr butter
100 gr thickly ground walnuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons powdered chocolate


  • Preheat the oven at 180ºC
  • Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it over a bain-marie with the butter. Alternatively, you can do this in the microwave, but remember that whatever container you use will be very hot.
  • Beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy and then add the chocolate. Keep mixing and add the flour, powdered chocolate, baking powder and walnuts.
  • Grease and flour a medium sized tray, pour the mixture and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Once ready, cut in even sized squares.

Lara's Cake (no eggs)


600g flour

350g sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder


2 dl oil

2 tablespoons honey or jam

5 dl milk


In a large mixing bowl add the ingredients in the order above. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy. Butter a cake tin and pour in the mixture.

Bake in medium heat oven until golden.

Cherry Clafoutis


3 eggs

2 glasses of milk

1 glass flour

500 gr cherries (with the stones)

6 tablespoons sugar


Preheat the oven at 180ºC

Beat the eggs, sugar, milk and flour. Then add the cherries and pour in a pie tin.

Bake for 45 minutes.
